Welcome to Miss Schoenborn's Site!
Thank you for taking the time to visit and participate in the interactive world that is the field of education. Learning is a community process that requires the effort of many to achieve true success. Note the navigation box on the right to easily hop, skip or jump to your destination.
The student section includes helpful links for those in my class as well as a list of suggested reading, homework help, assignments and whatever else I think you might find interesting.
Parents and Guardians, I hope you will find your section accessible and useful as another method to keep in touch with all that is going on in my classes as we work and play together to give the students quality education. There are also links for you to additional sites especially pertinent for parents and guardians.
For all you educators out there wandering through cyberspace, there is also a large section for you where I share the best lesson plans, academic works and teaching strategies that I encounter over the years. Check it out!
Whether you are my student, parent of a student, colleague or otherwise and just want to know a little more about me, please take a gander at my story. I happily share some about my family, passions and life.
If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to chat, please contact me at True_Heart713@msn.com.
I look forward to our paths meeting,
Miss Schoenborn
| The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth. Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same. And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. ***I discovered the above poem when I was in eighth grade and fell in love. Passionate about nature myself, I connected with Frost's imagery. As I have sought out my own path in life, the words of this poem have always echoed in my mind for I too chose the path less traveled and it truly has made all the difference.
