First off, I am very excited to have your child in my class this year! I cannot wait to get to know each of my students this year! Here is a little bit about me....

I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University, in Abilene, Texas with a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. This will be my seventh year teaching. I have taught all those years at Tibbals Elementary. My first two years were in first grade and the last 4 years have been in second grade. I have loved teaching both grades but right now my heart is of course with second graders! 

During the summer of 2010 I married my best friend, Jonathan. He is an electrical engineer for Texas Instruments. We also have a female mini goldendoodle named Bailey, who is practically like our child right now since we do not have any children yet.  

 

Some of my favorites things are shopping, the color green, vanilla coke or coke with lime from sonic, caramel apple spice from starbucks in the winter (yummy!), Target, and Hobby Lobby!
