Monday 5/17/10: Quiz on To Kill a Mockingbird  chapters 1 & 2.  Today the Caesar Standard rough draft and completed packet are due with at least two articles attached.  Read TKaM chapters 3 & 4 for tomorrow and turn in Sentence Set 13.

Friday 5/14/10: Due today:  Sentence Set 12.  Today is the Caesar for test.  Make sure you complete the packet for your  Caesar Standard, and write the rough draft of your paper for Monday.  The more this paper looks like a final draft, the less work you will have to do later.  Yesterday we discussed some ideas to help you do better on the paper.  Check out a copy of To Kill a Mockingbird and read the first two chapters before Monday's class.

Thursday 5/13/10: Due today:  questions on p 880 #2-8.  Today you should have brought your  Caesar Standard, packet to class so you can continue to look for quotes and use the Internet to research articles.  We discussed some ideas to help you do better on the paper.  We discussed the  Caesar Study Guide for your test tomorrow.  Check out a copy of To Kill a Mockingbird. Read the first two chapters before Monday's class.

Wednesday 5/12/10: Due today: Sentence Set 11. Tomorrow turn in questions on p 880 #2-8.  Today you should have brought your  Caesar Standard, packet to class so you can choose your topic, discuss it with a small group of your choosing, look for quotes and use the Internet to research articles.  You will have a half hour to get started.  You will also continue to watch Caesar on VHS.  Please write down the answers to the  Caesar Study Guide so you will remember them on Friday, which is the day of our test.  You will also have some time to work on this tomorrow in class, so bring your packet and articles ideas to class tomorrow as well.
