INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the MISRGO Empowerment Evaluation Site

The purpose of this collaborative site is to share what we are accomplishing as a group throughout the State.

We are a collection of tobacco prevention grantees and evaluators working together to enhance the effectiveness of our programs.  Dr. Fetterman is orchestrating the empowerment evaluation. Ms. Linda Delaney is providing local evaluation coordination and assistance.

The Minority Initiative Sub-Recipient Grant Office (MISRGO) provides overall support and coordination of the program.  Marian Evans, coordinator, and the entire MISRGO team, provide and secure appropriate technical assistance.

Dean Calvin Johnson, School of Education, is responsible for the oversight of the MISRGO project and provides ongoing support for the Initiative.

"Empowerment" is such a great word.

I agree. The key is that we do not empower anyone. We help to create an environment that is conducive to people empowering themselves.

Dr. Fetterman, Evaluators, and Grantees

This collaborative website is definitely a great site to access and share information among evaluators, as well as grantors and grantees. However, I'm not certain the amount of personal information (such as reference and job-related information that are contained in my biographical sketch) which may pose a security risk or lead to identify theft.

What is your suggestion? I'll appreciate a feedback from you, evaluators, and grantees.

Sincerely,

Dr. Lawrence A. Ibekwe

Hi Dr. Ibekwe
I do not think there is much of a security risk in this area. Use only the email address and the telephone number you want in the public. However, I would not include any social security number on your resume. Take care.
