Jr. Congregation

Mishkan Torah is proud to continue its tradition of offering a religious program for children ages 5 - 12, this year again under the able direction of Bret Goldstein.  The program runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on both the first and second day of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur.  Tickets are free, but it is necessary to register.  Contact MishkanFamily@gmail.com.

A few items to note:

A light snack will be provided. The time of the snack will revolve around the story time with the Rabbi on the bimah.

Children will not be excused from Junior Congregation classrooms without parental consent. This ensure that they are adequately supervised at all times.

The program lasts from 10 AM to 1 PM. Arriving promptly for the beginning of Junior Congregation services will help us to provide a more involved, participatory, and focused program.

Junior Congregation tickets should be requested at the same time as tickets for the adult services.

Tickets and Seating

Members should send in their ticket request form by August 18.  Visitors can obtain tickets by contacting us by either phone, email, or regular mail.  There is no explicit charge for first timers, but donations are encouraged.

Envelopes with tickets will be available in the foyer during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur servies.

The congregation has decided to try an open seating arrangement this year.
