Mishkan Torah is a friendly, down-to-earth, community-oriented congregation. We offer something for everyone, young, old, single, married, and both Jewish and interfaith families. Our strong traditions of education and member participation provide a wide variety of opportunities for involvement.
We are affiliated with two movements: the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation and the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism. Our Rabbi is a Reconstructionist.
Our Hebrew School offers Judaic studies and Hebrew instruction to children from kindergarten through seventh grade. It also includes a confirmation program for older children. The kids attending Hebrew School not only learn a lot, but really enjoy themselves in the process and make good friends.
Our Saturday morning Shabbat Services start at 9:30 a.m. Our Friday evening Shabbat services generally start at 8:00 p.m. The first Friday of each month we offer a Family Service which starts at 7:30 p.m. and where all family members participate. Please join us for a Shabbat service or for the High Holidays. Or check out the Rabbi's study group. |
