MISA/ASIM Canada
Municipal Information Systems Association / Association des systèmes d'information municipale Canada
MISA/ASIM Canada is a not-for-profit corporation with five member associations promoting the development and operation of municipal information systems and citizen-centred services.
National Municipal Pricing ProgramRegional member marketing is an accepted method for vendors to promote their special offers to the local municipal governments in Canada. Working with the municipal community is part of the value statement for regional associate members within MISA/ASIM Canada associations. Regional members can obtain value from these special offers if the vendors tailor them to the specific needs of local municipal governments and price them competitively. It was March 2008, when MISA/SIM Canada first introduced the first National Municipal Pricing Program to its members. All municipalities that are members of MISA Atlantic, MISA BC, MISA ON, MISA Prairies and RIMQ were able to take advantage of the special discounted pricing negotiated by MISA/ASIM Canada. That marked the first time that municipalities across Canada had equitably priced access to the same products and services. Since 2008, a total of 11 companies have joined the program. The cost to participate in the 2012 program is $250 a year. As a National Municipal Pricing Program member, you will receive: · Promotion of your offer in the form of a press release to all MISA members upon acceptance/launch; · Company profile and details of your offer on the MISA/ASIM Canada Web site and links to it on the chapter Web sites; · An article detailing your offer in the next edition of Municipal Interface immediately following the acceptance/launch. If your company would like to be part of this great program, please submit a proposal outlining the proposed services to Kathryn Bulko, at kbulko@toronto.ca. All requests for National Municipal Pricing Program special offers shall be reviewed for approval by the MISA/ASIM Board. |
