Mirebalais Education Project

Bring a Buck and a Book

LOOK WHO IS READING YOUR BOOKS

Reading is a Right

The Mirebalais Education Project was established to help stock that library!  How can you help?

We are collecting all donations of new and gently used French language books, teaching resources (Flash cards, computer games, French language-learning books)

And, of course, cash to get these materials to Haiti.

Several  Calgary school's have joined on to, Bring a Book and a Buck (it costs about one dollar to ship each book) for the month of October.

Each school has done what they need to to make this program work for them.

One school is challenging each home room to bring in the largest number of books and bucks the winner will be treated to a pizza party.  What works at your school???

Another schools fall dance entrance fee is dependant on cleaning out those gently used books at home. Entire families are participating at this school.
