Sort Start Menu and Favorites from A-Z

1. Start regedit

2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

3. To sort Favorites, erase Favorites from the left window.

4. To sort Start Menu erase Start Menu2 from the left window.

5. Restart your computer and you will have Start Menu and Favorites sorted.

Remove Favorites from the Start Menu

1. Start regedit.

2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

3. Create new DWORD with name "NoFavoritesMenu" and input value "1".

4. If you do this under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE instead under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Favorites menu in Start Menu will be lost for all users.

Remove advertising shortcut Links from Favorites

1. Start regedit.

2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar

3. Find "LinksFolderName" option and change the value so it is empty.

4. Start IE and erase Links directory from Favorites. Turn off IE and start it again and Links should not appear any more.

Desktop or directorium won't remember the settings

1. Open regedit.

2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Program Manager\Restrictions

3. Find DWORD "NoSaveSettings" and set its value at "0".

4. If that option doesn't exist, create one.

Turn off that boring Script Debugging and Error windows

1. Start the Internet Explorer

2. Open Tools falling menu and choose Internet Options. Click on Advanced tab.

3. Find "Disable Script Debugging" and select it.

4. Find "Display a notification about every script error" and turn it off.

5. Restart your computer and the boring windows should not appear any more.
