About
The Minton Stable Community Garden is a community garden on Williams Street in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. The garden is part of the Boston Natural Area Network.  Minton Stable Community Garden, is a multi-use recreational open space.  The Minton Stable Garden is actively used for gardening, social events and neighborhood meetings, pet playground, solitude and is a local destination point.
    Socially, the Minton Stable Community Garden is the community meeting hall.  It is the central point of community and the park-like atmosphere around the gardens (between Dungarven St. and Williams St.) is open for all to enjoy. Newcomers to the Stoneybrook Neighborhood find new friends and meet their neighbors, integrating easily into the local social fabric, bonding with the community. Gardeners, passers-by, neighbors with pets, all share the Minton Stable Community Garden.   
    The Minton Stable Community Garden hosts a variety of social events, and gatherings, informal, spontaneous, and scheduled (see Announcements & Events).   Numerous meetings on neighborhood affairs take place here. Neighborhood parties are held at the Minton Stable Community Garden.
    There are 52 garden plots tended by well over 60 gardeners. Currently, there is a waiting list to obtain a plot, but If you are interested in gardening at the Minton Stable Community Garden, please send an email to the address below.
    A volunteer 7 person Steering Committee is responsible for garden business, elections are held annually for half the spots, terms last 2 years.
