Ministry of Service is the Living Word Bible Church’s version of the Biblical ‘Helps” Ministry sometimes called ‘Volunteer Ministry’. It provides staff and organizes (primarily) the Living Word Bible Church members to provide unpaid staff services for three categories of the church work in excellence!

 

These three areas are:

 

Supplemental staff to standard church organization like Accounting, Alter Ministry, Intercession that would normally be lead by Pastors and Elders.

All other church functions such as office support, greeters, ushers, café services, etc.

Our Purpose

 

The MOS was conceived by Pastors Tom and Maureen as an essential building block to a greatly expanded ministry. Through an expansion of voluntary service, Living Word Bible Church can tap the resident skills of the LWBC membership and allow them to fully participate in the church in ways that further the LWBC Mission.

 

The Ministry of Service (MOS) desires to build the Body of Christ through service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The MOS ensures that department heads and leaders provide training and orientation to their departments, and Reward and Recognition Programs to encourage continued service from the MOS members. The MOS develops and implements an integrated process plan and data base that tracks identification of potential MOS members and their assignments, from recruitment to the end of their assignment.  Inclusive are: recruiting, MOS orientation, and referral and tracking of Department Training, work assignments, communications, and MOS member satisfaction, etc.
