Our Mission
MindTech Institute was established in order to provide a comprehensive, functional
approach to preventive medicine. Today, individuals have come to expect illness, pain and
the degradation of their physical and mental health as a naturally occurring part of life.
This is unequivocally false. We believe this to be an unsubstantiated
belief that has managed to sneak its way into mainstream thought and accepted into current
medical practice. Conventional medicine has not been taught to focus on the prevention of
disease, only with the treatment of symptoms. This approach has now led to a nation where
the 3 leading causes of death are diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. All of which have
been proven to be preventable or dramatically decreased with exercise and a healthy eating
lifestyle.
At MindTech Institute we believe that quality of health and overall life can be
dramatically improved through the institution of a comprehensive nutrition and fitness
program, in addition to traditional medicine. This effective combination of alternative
and conventional medicine, each lending their support to combat and prevent disease and
illness, lends itself to optimal health and quality of life.
MindTech Institute prides itself on administering a complete evaluation of each
individual, identifying various needs and possible problem areas in order to assure each
client's success. Each client receives an individualized and structured nutritional program. To accomplish this we work in a
team that includes a variety of healthcare providers, as well as alternative treatment
techniques. Our staff includes medical advisors in a variety of specialties,
nutritionists, and fitness therapists. We also offer a designated eating disorder program
that focuses on the importance of understanding sensation signals that may have previously
been unrecognizable. We emphasize this connection through fitness therapy in order that an
individual learns to recognize feelings of hunger and fullness. This is achieved through
nutritional and exercise therapy that promotes the establishment of a healthy mind-body
connection. |
