Welcome to the Mind of Christ Ministries.

I Corinthians 2:16 For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?"  But we have the mind of Christ.

The goal of this ministry is to share resources and information which will allow God's children to walk with authority and power in this life. By walking in the power and authority God himself has committed to His people will cause us to be greater witnesses of His goodness, and mankind’s need for Jesus.

14.jpgStatement of Faith

 1.  I believe the Bible is inspired, “God breathed” and empowered by God, infallible and authoritative. It was written by absolute inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The practices and doctrine of the Church must be established by the Scriptures that were subsequently accepted as canon by the early Christian Church.

2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------2.  I believe in one eternal God who exists and is revealed as three distinct persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22; John 1:1; 2 Corinthians 13:14

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------3.  (a) I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (b) He was born of a virgin. (c) He lived a sinless life. (d) He walked among men. (e) He demonstrated the authority and power of God in miracles and speech. (f) He died on the cross to pay for our sins. (g) He rose from the dead on the third day. (h) He is now seated at the right hand of God having accomplished all that is necessary for man's salvation.

(a) Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31 (b) Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:34-35 (c) Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22 (d) John 1:14 (e) Acts 2:22; Acts 10:38 (f) 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21 (g) Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Corinthians 15:4 (h) Luke 24:50-52; Acts 1:9; Acts 1:11; Acts 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------4.  I believe that man was made in the image of God and is the crown of creation. Unredeemed man is now, by reason of man's voluntary transgression and fall, spiritually depraved and alienated from God the Creator. As a result of fallen man's alienation, he has incurred physical and spiritual death. Apart from God's grace, fallen man has no ability to attain to his high calling.

Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:17; Genesis 3:6-11; Psalm 8:4-9; Romans 5:12-19; Ephesians 2:8-9

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------5.  I believe man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The Son of God. it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with his mouth and believing in his heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Justification is by grace through faith in our Jesus' death burial and resurrection.

Romans 3:21-24; Romans 6:23; Romans 5:8; Romans 5:10; Romans 10:8-10

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------6.  I believe divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers

Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:15-18; James 5:14-16

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.  I believe that all believers are to be buried with our Lord Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism, subsequent to conversion. Baptism is a response to salvation and does not produce salvation.

Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------8.  I believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, conforming them to the image of Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 12:13, Romans 8:16-17

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------9.  I believe that in the baptism of the Holy Spirit is an endowment of power. The Holy Spirit is continuing the work started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and to continue in all the works of Jesus. The baptism of the Holy Spirit follows conversion, and is given by God to anoint the believer for sanctification and evangelism. The Holy Spirit remains active within the body of Christ until the coming of the Lord. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit provides for the endowment of power for life and service, bestowing gifts for the use in the ministry. Evidences of the Holy Spirit include, speaking in tongues, a deepened reverence for God, intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work, and a deeper love for Christ, His Word and for the lost.

Mark 16:20; Luke 24:49; John 7:37-39; Acts 1:4-8; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:42-43; Acts 8:12-17; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 11:14-17; Acts 15:7-9; Acts 19:1-2;            1 Corinthians 12:1-31; 1 Corinthians 12:4-10; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Hebrews 12:28-29

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------10.  I believe the true Church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation. The Christian Church, is imperfectly represented on earth, by the various Christian institutions. The church's unity is spiritual, her culture diverse and transitional, her mission eternal. The calling of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher are functional within the Body of Christ until the Lord's return. Furthermore, these ministries are gifts to the Church for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, that the body of Christ be edified.

Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 12:18-23

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------11.  I believe all born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all the world. I believe in the priesthood of the believer. All people born of God have equal status before, and direct access to, the Lord.

Mark 16:15; I Peter 2:5

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

12.  I believe that those who are called by the name of Christ should depart from iniquity. I acknowledge that one work of the Holy Spirit is to create in us the character of Christ. Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedication unto God By the power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command: "Be ye holy, for I am holy." Sanctification is realized by the believer by recognizing identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by faith by offering all things continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:11-13; Romans 8:1-2; Romans 8:13; Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 2:20; Philippians 2:12-13; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 2 Timothy 2:19; Hebrews 13:1-17; 1 Peter 1:1-5; 1 Peter 1:15-16

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------13. I believe in the literal second coming of our Lord, and the literal Millennial Reign of Christ upon the earth. The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ to eternal life, the translation of those who remain in Christ, and the unregenerate to eternal damnation. The literal salvation of the nation of Israel, the establishment of universal peace, and the Final Judgment. The ultimate victory of the eternal Kingdom of God and the ultimate punishment of Satan. The Heavens and the Earth will be regenerated.

(NOTE: It is difficult to tell all I believe in a few short sentences. I make this statement of faith available so you will know I am a Bible-believing Christian. Reading my writings will give you much more information about my beliefs. I appreciate your interest in growing in the things of the Lord!)
