The 2009 festival was organized by representatives from Carroll University, Literacy Services of Wisconsin, Marquette University, Milwaukee Public Library, Redbird-RedOak  Writing, University Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Woodland Pattern Book Center, Boswell Book Company, and Next Chapter Books.
