The Parish Council hosted the first meeting of allotment holders on 27th September 2010. Notes of the meeting are here. The last meeting was on 19th September 2011 which considered a written Allotment Agreement. Following comments and feedback the Councill will consider the agreement at its meeting in Janaury 2012 with a view to issuing it for the 2012 season. A copy of the proposed agreement is attached below. The next meeting will be in April 2012 (date tbc) at 7.30pm in the Victoria Rooms. The Parish Council allotments are behind Courtfields and can be accessed on foot through the gap at the southern end of the estate.. There are 37 plots of either 5 or 10 yards. A layout plan is attached below. Currently the annual rent is £2.50 for 5 yards and £5 for 10 yards (Due for review in January 2010). At the meeting on January 4th 2010 it was agreed to increase rents to £5 for 5 yards and £10 for 10 yards. The rental year runs from April 1st and rent demands are sent out at the end of February.
