- Here I will put basic instructions on what I (have to) do to a fresh ubuntu installation. I am going to break it into 2 categories. The first will be what I "need" and the second is what I "almost need." This page was written for ubuntu feisty (7.04) or linuxmint cassandra

- Backup /etc/X11/xorg.conf
- Replace with this
- Ctrl+alt+backspace

OR:
run: sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg in the terminal. Follow the instructions.

- BEFORE CTRL + ALT + Backspace, check that the restricted friver for nvidea is ENABLED
