The Purpose of This Site is to show a variety of possibilities and potential that technology has to offer education and how the implementation of technology can truly enhance learning for both the student and the teacher. I plan on using these projects and activities that I have created using today's latest technologies in my own curriculum with my students and I also plan on applying this knowledge to my own professional development as an educators and then sharing this website with other colleagues and community members for future collaboration. To show how technology can enhance student learning and current curriculum I will be posting student samples from my elementary technology class that I teach. I have posted my 5th grade students' narrated slideshows movie files, which are located under the "Civil Rights Projects" tab on the left. As the school year progresses I plan on adding more samples from all my student classes (K-5th) to showcase their talents and incredible efforts so that they may not only share their innovative projects but have their own voice be heard in today's digital world. This site was created around the graduate course CI 5351: Tech Tools For Educators in the Learning Technologies MEd program at the University of Minnesota.
