My research interests include refugees, international conflict and the Middle East. In my dissertation I study refugees' experiences, perceptions and opinions, in the context of broader structural factors, leading to their political mobilization and militarization. I recently (2010-11) conducted field research in Jordan on Palestinian and Iraqi refugees. In the past I studied voting patterns in the UN Security Council. In the course of my research I combed through all meeting minutes of Security Council meetings and created a database of all non-unanimous votes in the UNSC since its inception in 1946 through 2006. The database is in Excel format below. Please cite as: Lebson, Mike. 2007. "Non-unanimous votes in the United Nations Security Council, 1946-2006." http://www.mikelebson.com (date accessed). |
