Description: 

Ethical Dilemmas and The Law is a second semester course for 11th or 12th grade students. Through Socratic discussion, role-play, debates, moot court, and mock trials, students will engage with and attempt to solve real-world ethical dilemmas.  These solutions will be based on a study of classic texts in ethical philosophy, legal cases, and on practical problem-solving and conflict-resolution strategies.  Students will interpret the United States Constitution and American law, while also employing their background knowledge from history, literature, science and other personal experiences.
