Take a walk at Marina Park and bring the kids. This is a great park that is a well kept local secret. Take Seaward to Pierpont, take a left to the end and you are at the park. The parking is free and so is the great view. Kids love the zip line that comes off of the pirate ship sand box as well as the tot lot. Ventura Harbor and Ventura HarborVillage are located on the other side of the harbor entrance and features shops, arcade, boat rentals, harbor and Island cruises as well as the Channel Islands National Park Service head quarters. http://www.channel.islands.national-park.com/ Burrito of the week goes to Tacos Jalisco on Main street in Ventura.
