My painting career has started autumn 2005. It was big challenge after a long break from my earlier art studies.

I studied arts and crafts majoring in ceramics in Osaka University of Arts and did my bachelors degree there.

Next I had a sidetrack into jewellery working as goldsmith in Kobe and did some silver jewellery in Canada. Then after many years in between started to do fine art studies in Liminka Art School in Finland.

This year I got a grant from Pohjois-Pohjanmaa (Finnish) culture fund and it has given me more courage to continue studying and working on art projects.
