Archiect, born in 1950, belgian. Architect expert ,1979, PHAI Hasselt Belgium. Founder partner “Architectenbureau FCS” (architecture, renovation, restauration, interior design and urban planning, 1976-2007), also co-founder partner DEST3 Building Consulting (1982-2007).
Wide experience and activity in the 3rd and 4th world, as an effective member in actions and events such as «Carta de Barcelona» (ASF-E, 1996); founding meeting “Architekten über Grenzen Deutschland”» in Berlin; founding meeting “Architetti senza Frontieri Itália” (1999)» in Milan; present in ASF Argentina meeting in Buenos Aires (2000), in San Francisco (architects without borders North America, 2001); present in ASF Sweden meeting, Stockholm; and many others, in many different countries.
He was involved in several projects such as “Village Reconstruction Organisation”, India (1998); «City of Düzce * emergency & transitional shelter after earthquake», Turkey (1999); the Educational Centre in Guamote region, Equador (2000); in Romania he was the evaluation team leader in the region of Oradea and Timisoara; between many others.
Recently he was in the reconstruction program post-Tsunami in Sri-Lanka, and also in 2007 in
Hasselt: co-founder & board member of ‘Architecture sans Frontières International Network’.
