Mighty 1090 Remembered


A snapshot of small-town radio that rocked 

The Mighty 1090 entertained the Kingstree, SC area from its sign-on in 1967 until the fall of 1989, consistently programming a "Top 40" format interspersed with classic rock, beach music and soul.

You can't tune in any more, but this web site will at least give you a glimpse into the past and a chance to hear a small market radio station that had a big market sound.
