Nitada is so excited about sharing her faith and she is now a Mien youth leader in at Chiangmai Academy.

Religious and family background; Her parents are spirit worshippers. Two years ago, she decided to be baptized but her parents disagree about her decision. But recently they allow Muayching to be baptized. We expect her to be baptized soon at Chiangmai Adventist Academy. She has come to know Jesus Christ through the Mien Bible Study group and through the strong influence of our Adventist Academy that has a very Christ-Centered education. The (CAA) work supervisor has assigned her to work in the cafeteria.  She has to work 4 hours everyday. Bro. Her mother is a very sickly farmer that has been worrying a lot about the future of her two students-kids (Choenkwang and Pimpisa). Their father seemed to be a hopeless opium addict. We have been trying to encourage their father and have been praying but he refuse to give up. Anyway, Pimpisa is now started to understand what it means to be a disciple of Christ. Religious and family background; He was influence by the missionary and our Adventist Academy. About 7 years ago, his father was imprisoned. I don't know the whole story but it was all about illegal drug. This has broken the whole family leaving five of them especially Wichai, Supin and Sanchai (see their details somewhere here) in almost hopeless condition. But God has been leading them. Wichai is a gifted guitarist who has been so useful in the church services and activities.

Religious background; Her father has been imprisoned. Perhaps Supin can now be called as disciple. Her knowledge and faith in God can lead her fellow Mien to the feet of the Savior. When pastor is not around in the church, she knows what to do. Since my Thai and Mien language is still poor, she has been translating me in the church. She used to work as missionary in one of our Adventist school in South Thailand. Now she intends to finish her course as kindergarteen teacher. It is a blessing that she has been studying just in Chiangrai so  she can help the Mien church in the mountain as well as the Thai church in the city. Presently, she is teaching in the children's Sabbath school. Supin is in need of help to finish her study.
