PAUSE FOR A MOMENT AND THINK OF THIS…

Imagine that in Thailand 94.6% is Buddhist, 4.6% is Moslem, 0.1% is from other sects and Only 0.7% is Christians. To get the actual figure there are only more or less 10,000 SDA members out of 65,444,371 (est. as of July 2005) country’s population. And out of that, there are only about 40 Mien SDA church members out of about 30,000 Miens here from more than a hundred Mien isolated villages, scattering all over Northern Thailand. For many years, missionaries have been reaching them. They have faced tough challenges in learning their language, culture and understanding their beliefs. But still the gospel work has been very slow. In fact, recently, we have only one Mien SDA church at Ban Pangkhon, Chiangrai Province. The other Mien SDA is home church At Ban huai fai, Nan province. There ARE still unreach Mien PEOPLE in Laos, Vietnam, and China aside from the unreach Mien here in Thailand. Our burden is to produce disciples that will take part in the loud cry. Will you  help us? We are needing you...

The Role of Adventist Education

After 100 years of Adventist presence in Thailand, there are only more or less 10,000 SDA church members in the entire country and out of that small numbers, there are only about 40 Mien SDA members.

Mien hilltribe is one of the biggest minority group in Asia considering their population in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and China. In the mountains of Northern Thailand, which are in the provinces of Chiangrai, Nan and Phayao, there are more than a hundred unreach Mien villages. Many estimated that there are more or less 30,000 Mien people in the whole Thailand. Foreign missionaries, who have been working among them, from different Christian denominations, have been confronted with many challenges in reaching them. However, it has proven that many of the Mien youth with a very strong spirit worshippers' family background, have found Jesus Christ through Christian schools here in Thailand. One of the proof is our Chiangmai Adventist Academy (CAA) where many of our Mien youth have discovered the truth about God’s love. You know the value and importance of Christian education. These Mien youths have become blessings in their respective villages. Do you want to make an eternal difference in the lives of these people through your charitable gifts?  Please click here to know how you can help.

Serve God By Adopting A Student

Mien students at Chiangmai Adventist Academy (CAA) or (Chiangmai Matthayom School in Thai)  and in Mission College have many challenges on their journey toward finishing their school.

They have been working at school campus to help themselves pay their school bills. Without financial aid, the challenge of paying tuition can be insurmountable problem for them.

Fortunately through prayers, few has received sponsorship from the soft hearted individuals like you!   By adopting a Mien student, you can directly impact the lives of one and their families and the church as a whole.  Most of them understand the love of Jesus through our Academy.  Please click here to see the list of the Mien students who need sponsorship.
