 Mid-Sussex Blues Football Club is a junior football club created to provide coaching and competition for children in the Mid-Sussex area. The club, affiliated with Haywards Heath Football Club, was set up in 2007 and enter teams in the Crawley League. MSBFC aims to be a very different kind of football club, giving a new meaning to the term 'total football'. Our vision is:
“to create the ideal environment for young people to learn and enjoy the game of football, helping them prepare for their future as athletes, students and members of the community.”
Besides coaching and competition we will also focus on:
Supporting local education,
Developing links with other sports organizations,
Fostering international co-operation,
Protecting the environment.
MSBFC prides itself on it's philosophy and is highly respected within the FA and in our local leagues... "we play the right way-
and if we win, all the better".

MSBFC train at Wivelsfield Green on Saturday mornings with the under 12's training at Franklands Village.
Training changes to Downlands School 3G astro pitches, Hassocks through the winter period.
Wivelsfield Green is an outstanding location offering ample grass area, large parking, a safe and enclosed area for children and a pavillion that is used to serve refreshments and healthy snacks.
In addition, for siblings who do not wish to play football there is a park for them to play in.
Mid-Sussex Blues enter younger teams into the Crawley Youth Sunday League with older teams playing in the Tandridge and Mid-Sussex Youth Leagues. Under 7 and under 8 ages are non-competitive.
All Crawley Youth League matches are played on the Broadfield Stadium 3G astro pitches, starting times vary. The Crawley League season kicks off on 18th Sept 2011.

Training at Wivelsfield is due to restart for the new 2011-2012 season on Saturday 03-Sept-11. Start times to be finalised.

Mid-Sussex Blues is chaired by John Bines. Players are coached by a team of CRB checked and FA qualified coaches led by Mark Russ, who is well known in the area as a highly respected FA qualified coach. We already have a strong squad of players - and some exceptional young talent.
