Special Notice 02/23/2012
Middlesex Members please take note that Merrimack Valley Radio will be changing their primary channel in the coming weeks. The new frequency is 463.500 Mhz PL 82.5 narrow band. Both systems are currently in operation and Valley members are currenlty migrating to their new system. Middlesex members are urged to update your programming to unsure continued access as the current Valley Ch1 will become inactive.
Reminder: Two way radios need to be narrow band compliant prior to 12/31/2012. |

Middlesex Radio, formerly (Middlesex Notification) was established in November of 1993. The system is an association of mostly of public safety professionals, Dispatchers, Fire Fighters, and EMS Providers. The mission is the notification of any serious emergency incident that utilizes extensive local public safety resources. Information is transmitted for the members and listeners benefit. The notifications are carried out over a UHF community repeater that covers an area just south of Boston and well into New Hampshire. Major fires, motor vehicle crashes, and other large scale incidents are the target of our radio transmissions.
