The Middle Colorado River Watershed Partnership (MCRWP) represents a strong collective voice to protect and enhance the health of the Middle Colorado River watershed. The MCRWP agreed to work together to identify short and long-term opportunities for collaboration, including all stakeholders in the community.

The MCRWP includes both a broad stakeholders group and a steering committee. The steering committee (SC) was convened in March 2010 to focus on building greater coordination through learning more about the baseline health of the watershed and water related activities. They are charged with the development of a summary assessment of the watershed health, current activities, and partner goals. The assessment will be the foundation to develop next steps for the MCRWP.

The Partnership recently formed a five-person Leadership Committee (LC) to help manage the group's day-to-day activities, organize monthly meetings and provide assistance to the Steering Committe. The LC is composed of Jim Rada (chair), Denis Reich, Donna Gray, Dennis Davidson and Mike Wilde. The LC meets the Thursday before regularly scheduled educational meetings.
