Quality Microscope Training delivered by experts

Training organization for all aspects of Light microscopy. Basic, intermediate and advanced tuition.

Paced approach to match the delegates needs.

Here at Microscopy101 we have a philosophy which we think will suit your way of working.

Optical microscopy is considered by many as a simple technique for examining both natural and man-made materials.

There are however a few steps that you can take to understand the image formation process and ensure that you get good results every time… and understand how you did it !

Therefore we aim to provide a knowledge based learning experience. What we mean by this is you can learn enough about the science of how the images are formed to work with your instruments and get good, reliable and repeatable results.

So the essence of our approach is to keep your knowledge in pace with your needs. If you want to know about the raw physics, we can tell you , but we want you to ‘get it’, all the way through the training. So its paced, learning, at your pace !. Seem too simple?

Our principle trainers have worked with all the main companies, Zeiss, Leica, Olympus and Nikon, and also with some of the smaller outfits. A breadth of experience. Take a look at some of our trainer profiles.

Due to these long associations many of our trainers still have contact with these organisation, even if the have moved on in their careers. We draw on these contacts from time to time for equipment loans and support at large meetings. We are however an independent group and have no specific affiliations to any one company.

We also strongly support the work of the Royal Microscopical Society. Some of our principles hold positions within the RMS sections.
