"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."

Winston Churchill

I came up with the concept for PerpetualEndowments.org  in 1989, then in 2001 after a man that I hold in the highest regard announced that the religious organization to which I belong was starting what he called the “Perpetual Education Fund.” it got my juices flowing again.  Now 7 year later here I am.  Let me Explain!  Here it is in a nutshell. I wanted to start a Company that would create “perpetual funding” for cancer research and other causes.  Cancer is the number one killer in the U.S. and it needs attention. I got tired of giving money away and then hearing on the news about overly paid Directors making millions of dollars.  Remember the scandals in the 80’s with a few non-profit organizations.  It was reported that less than half of the money collected was getting to its destination!  I wanted to create something that would live past my own mortality and give and give and give.  PerpetualEndowments.org is definitely not a quick fix, but nothing short of amazing. Let me walk you through an example:

Jamie’s father was diagnosed with cancer and she wanted to help in some small way.  She gave $100 dollars to PerpetualEndowments.org.  For the first year that $100 dollars was invested in a multitude of safe investments and gave a return of 15% that year. PerpetualEndowments.org then gives half of that 15% away to Cancer research.  The rest is re-invested to give growth to the fund, perpetuating the giving model. In year two PerpetualEndowments.org now has the original $100 dollars plus half of the return from the previous year to invest.  In 20 years with the same returns, Jamie’s $100 gift to PerpetualEndowments.org is used to pay out over $200.  Twice Jamie’s original $100 and PerpetualEndowments.org is still giving, and will continue to give and grow.  In 50 years that $100 dollars will produce almost $2,000 dollars and continue year after year.

Lets continue this forward with larger dollars to see the effects on our posterity.  PerpetualEndowments.org receives $3 million this year.  In 20 years PerpetualEndowments.org will have paid over $6 Million dollars to charity.  In just 50 years that number grows to almost $56 Million dollars!! and will continue to give year after year, and grow year after year.  I know it seems like a long time but in just over 50 years Perpetual Endowments is now giving over $3.5 Million dollars per year! Oh how our children will thank us.  In 100 years the amount is almost $90 Million Dollars per year! It’s the beauty of the system beneath PerpetualEndowments.org

You may be asking how this is possible? How will PerpetualEndowments.org deal with its administrative costs? Etc. The beauty of the program is that Administrative costs only come out of the growth of the corpus or fund.  Administrative costs will never exceed 15% of the growth of the fund, and be reduced to much less as the fund perpetuates and grows. As the fund perpetuates and grows, so will the money designated for Administrative costs and expenses, it will never need to be raised because the growth factor is already built in. It is perpetual as well.

Everything about PerpetualEndowments.org is transparent. The website is actively updated.  All accounts for PerpetualEndowments.org are posted and every dollar accounted for. You will see the growth and know your dollars are being used in the best possible way. We are creating a perpetual model that will help find a cure for cancer! and much, much more!  Together we are providing for the needs of those less fortunate, and can repeat this model over and over again because of the system that is PerpetualEndowments.org.

We invite you to share your donation dollars with generations to come.  Give the gift that will leave a legacy.  Our only limitations will be the amount in the fund.  Your donation, large or small, will allow PerpetualEndowments.org to extend financial resources at the source of the need, year after year.  Together we truly will leave a legacy.
