REQUIRED

• Garage for RCX users. Used to keep your robot covered during downloads to protect other robots from picking up your program and vice versa. It also serves as a container to carry your robot in, accidents can happen in crowded walkways.
• Power strip and extension cord.
• Computer (don't forget the power cord)
• Extra batteries or battery recharger.
• 2008 Consent Form (required from ALL team members -- adults and children)

On the REQUIRED/NECESSARY side

• Challenge set and mat. Many tournaments may not have a sufficient number of mats/field pieces for practice.
• A backup of your programs on disk or CD.
• A printout of your programs for Technical Judging.
• Extra LEGO building pieces.
• Medical permission forms (in case of emergency). Depends on the team's school policies for field trips, etc.
• Emergency contact numbers for team members
• Note paper and pencil/pen

On the OPTIONAL side

• Camera.
• Snacks (check the food rules of the site).
• Trinkets to share with other teams (buttons, stickers, etc.).
• Pit decorations.

What NOT to bring

• Items of value (jewelry, video games, etc.). Tournament hosts are not responsible for lost/stolen items.
