Championship Advancement

(updated 10-27-2010)

The qualifying tournament a team attends determines which championship tournament it can advance to.
Teams can only attend one Championship tournament.

At the qualifying tournaments, a total overall score will be computed for each team according to the following weights:
1/3 Project Judging, 1/3 Core Values Judging, 1/6 Robot Judging, 1/6 Robot Performance

Starting in 2010, the following policy will no longer be used in Michigan at qualifying tournaments:

The team with the highest single robot match score on the field automatically advances.
