My goal as an information professional is to preserve information, make it available, and help connect people to the information they seek. In the two years that I have been a student in the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University I have learned to do that through my classes and my student job at Emporia State University Archives. My interests have tended towards archives and special collections, but I also have interests in special libraries and academic libraries. Following my interests I have pursued both the Master of Library Science degree and the Archives Studies Certificate. This portfolio is a combined portfolio for both my Master of Library Science program and my Archives Studies Certificate program.
