Dr. Michael Grunebaum

Michael Grunebaum was born in Germany in 1932 and came to Palestine (Israel) in 1936. He studied Medicine in Strasbourg (France) and at the Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem (Israel). He trained Diagnostic Radiology at the Beilinson Hospital in Petach-Tiqva (Israel) and Pediatric Radiology at the Children Hospital in Boston (USA). He became  the first dedicated Pediatric Radiologist in Israel and founded the first Pediatric Radiology Unit in the country.

Dr. Grunebaum, later, became the Radiologist-in-Chief at the Schneider Children’s M.C. of Israel at the Rabin Campus in Petach-Tiqva. There, he introduced the first program of "Qualification Studies" in Pediatric Radiology in the country.

Dr. Grunebaum is the author of more than 140 published papers and 2 pediatric Radiology books (In the English language) and a Pediatric Ultrasonography Book (In the Hebrew language).
