Jump Start is designed to prepare participants for entry level positions in the public mental health field. Some of the positions our recent graduates received are: Care Coordinator I, Youth Advocate II, Independent Living Specialist, Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist, Job Placement Coordinator/Job Coach, Case Manager, Recovery Counselor, Dual Diagnosis Case Manager, Peer Advocate, Counselor, Housing Coordinator, Mental Health Worker and Personal Service Coordinator I/II.
Is Jump Start for You?
Priority will be given to persons in recovery from mental illness and family members of persons with mental illness. "From the first day to the last, Jump Start has offered education, support, and an experience of a lifetime. Anyone who is considering going into the mental health field should apply to Jump Start."
