The Speakers Bureau is focused on assisting MGs in developing their presentation skills so that we can build a strong legion of outgoing, happy and enthusiastic speakers. While many experienced speakers take their experience for granted, there are others who may be new to either gardening or speaking that need a little support in preparing for this outreach. In addition, there are many others who are more than willing to assist the group in research or media preparation.
In order to build momentum and prepare to fulfill our mission, we will experiment with a program series that will bring in more volunteers to speak and assist by providing - Presentation Development Workshops
- Presentation Skills Workshops
- Practice Presentation Sessions
- Research Skills
- ... and anything else we think we need
These meeting will take place every month on the second Thursday of the month, one week after the monthly meeting. Check out the calendar on the Speakers Bureau page.
Remember! The November Mini-Conference is intended for MGs and will give speakers the opportunity to SPEAK THEIR PIECE. So volunteer and prepare! |
