I remember that, when I first got to the campus(2006), I met some international students studying here. We made up a friendship. In the next year more international students came by to study. Honestly, I did not know all the international students much at that time. When I heard that they were planing to make an international association in our campus,which was done, I immidiately signed up for that. Thanks to everyone who has been working on this, because now I see that there is an international connection among the campus. Thanks to the association, because we met all the international students and every time we have a chance to communicate with them, learn something new. What I see is that association is one of the most serious and biggest association in the campus. Why are they doing this? The answers are to know each other properly, to communicate with each other, and to introduce their countries,culture to others. Students who represent different nations from all over the world are now totally 'inter'connected! Thanks to International Students Association for such a nice goal.

I have been here for just 2 years and already have made many friends. To be honest, at first, I did not like anything: Cyprus, campus, university,etc. I could not get used to the environment, life style, food, and lots of other things. In other words, I had a culture shock, which happens I guess nearly with all international students. However, while time was passing, I started to realize that I am actually a lucky person to be here. I've met many students from different countries and learned many things about Cyprus. For me the most important thing that has been done by international students is the creation of The International Students Association! I am really happy to be a member of it, because what we are doing now is to make students' life easier, happier and better. I wish Good Luck for all of us!
