Level -2 : Great station mrt-card ez-link to be used like a phone-card : have some money on it ; when u enter the station, check-in ; when u leave the station, check-out : then the amount corresponding on ur travel is decreased from the card. The concept of check-in with an electronic card exists in France (not in Germany), but not the check-out concept, which allows to have more accurate prices depending of the distance. No need to have complicated tariff-zones : simply use the public transportation to go everywhere like u want.
