Motown’s Jelani Embree defeated Nicholas Splawn of Texas by points at 9-10 year old, 95 pounds.
Motown’s Kyle Rutland won gold unopposed at 100 pounds, 13-14 year olds".

"February 7, in Independence, Missouri, no where will you find a more talented group of young athletes. Each of the roughly 300 amateur boxers from across the nation has earned his ticket to this prestigious event and plans to walk away with a championship belt."
Well Motown had 2 young talented boxers attend this event for the very first time Caleb Chesternut and Geno Jones even tho they did not win this years Silver Glove Tournament both young men showed the country they can compete with the best. After 2 tough opponents Caleb made to the Championship fight, and Geno also made his presents known with a victory on the first day.
Big ups to Geno,Caleb and to all the Michigan Fighters who participated.

Caleb Chesternut and Geno Jones both took the road trip to Cincinnati OH, for the Silver Gloves Regionals both little warriors are bringing home championships in there divisions and will be advancing to Nationals..........Congrats fellas

Jalen Prieto fought and won his match against Emilio Escobar from Casa De Boxeo at the Silver Gloves Tournament, advancing him in the 75lb class B division. Although he won his fight, his teammate in the same division also won. It was decided that instead of having the two fight, his teammate would represent Motown for the 2009 Silver Gloves State Champ......... Congrats to both fighters!!!

Club Show XVI threw there 4th Annual Bill White Memorial held in Windsor,
Ontario, Canada. Motown's Willie Fortune fought Josh Cameron but the decision went to Josh.
