This is a recording of lines 112 through 141 in Act Three, Scene Two of Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo and Juliet. Juliet has just found out about her kinsman's death by Romeo's hand. In these lines, Juliet expresses her anguish over Romeo's banishment for the crime of killing Tybalt. She offers foreshadowing to the end of the play by sobbing about how she wanted to kill herself. The Nurse's response is that she can find Romeo to comfort Juliet that night, for she knew that Romeo was in the company of Friar Lawrence.
