History: The EVHB was organized in 1997 by a group of Mesa, Arizona firefighters to provide the citizens of Mesa service and community support with a special emphasis given to the Hispanic community and the Mesa Public Schools system. Events: The EVHB serves the community by organizing and participating in local outreach and education opportunities including: immunization clinics, post secondary education scholarships, home smoke detector distributions, translation services, health and safety fairs, emergency relief fund donations, along with many other special events. |
