Recommendation: Artists & Illustrators is a magazine for professional and amateur artists which appears 13 times a year. It includes tutorials, advice and interviews with leading artists.

Leisure Painter & The Artist
http://www.painters-online.co.uk
Recommendation: The Artist is a magazine written by artists, for artists, and provides experienced amateur and professional painters with projects and exercises designed to improve painting technique, plus practical guidance on the technical aspects and use of art materials.
Leisure Painter magazine is aimed at beginners and amateur painters with step-by-step tuition, as well as giving general advice on ways to progress with drawing and painting.

Online Artists' Community

Painters Online
http://www.painters-online.co.uk
Recommendation: This is an online community for artists, based around the magazines Leisure Painter and The Artist. It includes tips and hints, a forum, a gallery where you can display your work and a marketplace where you can find out more about art materials' manufacturers and distributors. What it doesn't have is anywhere obvious to give you an oversight of what the site does. Still, if you've got time on your hands, it's worth a click.
