She is performing in the company's full repertoire, and was a part of the creation Variations S, based on Stravinsky's Sacre du Printemps, which premiered at Agora de a Danse in November 2010.  She will be part of the company's upcoming creation for children, based on the Goldberg Variations.  Since living in Montréal, Merryn has performed at Agora de la Danse, Studio 303, Cinqieme Salle in Place des Arts, and Usine C.

Merryn's work branched into choreography in 2009 when she participated in the arts residency id11 in The Netherlands.  You can view some of the work and documentation at dydances.blogspot.com.

Merryn began her training in Toronto at the National Ballet School of Canada, Canadian Children's Dance Theater, Pia Bouman School for Ballet, and Etobicoke School of the Arts.  She moved to New York City at 17 to train as a Fellowship student at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.  During her time at Ailey she had the privilege of working with American choreographers Peter London, Troy Powell and Takehiro Ueyama, and Paris Opera's Alexandre Proia.  In 2007 she joined the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company as a company member.  With NNCDC she performed across America and on international tours to Mexico and Poland.

In addition to dance, Merryn received classical voice training in New York, and uses her vocal experience in all of Hélène Blackburn's touring works, ranging from spoken to opera.  In 2006 she was host and featured dancer in "Spotlight: Merryn Kritzinger" with BPM:tv.  Merryn also studies the violin and accordion.
