BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT!!!
July 11, 2011
(AP ONLY)
Hopefully, everyone has received the study packets I sent out over the summer. For those of you who may not have received them, I wanted to give an update on the summer assignment...
It was agreed that there would be no required assignments given for summer because of the Marshall students joining us in the Fall and that it might be difficult for them to receive books. Some of you received books before this decision was made. Keep in mind that if you received the study packet, that this is not anything different than what is already in your book. I have simply provided all registered students a copy of the sample problems covered in chapters 1-4.
Chapters 1-4 will be covered on the first midterm, which will be given around the first week of October. The study packet should be a review of everything learned from general chemistry. I advise you to become comfortable solving sample and practice problems, as those will be the key to understanding later concepts which will be increasingly difficult. Integrate solving sample and practice problems into your study routine and you will find AP Chemistry much easier!
I urge anyone who either does not have a book, or has not received the study packet to contact me immediately. I can do my best to e-mail the information that was sent out.
Enjoy the rest of your summer! See you in the Fall
