The Manchester Memorial School  welcomed the Yale Alley Cats, one of the nation's most renowned a cappella groups, on Friday November 21st.  The Alley Cats led the elementary school chorus in a choral workshop followed by an all school concert.  The group performed a selection of songs from Motown to Classical music.  To learn more about the Alley Cats and listen to their distinctive music log onto www.yalealleycats.com .  This program was sponsored by the PTO Enrichment Committee.

Dear Parents,

The PTO Enrichment Committee is very pleased to announce that the Yale Alley Cats, one of the nation's most renowned a cappella groups, will visit Manchester Memorial School this coming Friday.  (They are in town for the Yale vs. Harvard football game this Saturday.) There will be a 50 minute workshop with the 4th - 6th grade chorus students.  Following the workshop there will be an all school concert highlighting the chorus.  The Alley Cats will perform many of the songs featured on their most current album.  To learn more about the Alley Cats and listen to their music you may view the attached publicity kit.
