Tribal Rhythms® Celebration Since 1970, the Cooperative Artists Institute's Tribal Rhythms Celebration has enchanted over a million people of all ages with its magical blend of dramatic stories, music, and dance. Students become part of the unfolding stories, creating spontaneous music on handmade musical instruments, and moving together in "the dance of the mysterious creature." In the process, Tribal Rhythms taps the ancient power of the arts and the primal need for human connection, to create a Learning Tribe that fosters multicultural understanding, promotes cooperation and respect, and encourages creative and critical thinking.
