Teacher Appreciation Lunches

The PTO arranges seven Teacher Appreciation Lunches throughout the school year.  Each grade hosts the lunch for the teachers and staff.  This year, Maria Gillespie will again be heading up the Teacher Appreciation Lunches.  She will be the contact person for the lunch coordinators for each grade level. 
This is a very special program that allows us to show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate
all they do for our children!


Teacher Appreciation Lunch Schedule:
 
Grade5  October 8, 2009
 
Grade4  November 12, 2009
 
Grade3  January 14, 2010
 
Grade2  March 4, 2010
 
Grade Kindergarten  April 8, 2010
 
Grade1  May 13, 2010
 

The grade level lunch coordinator will contact parents 2-3 weeks before the lunch.

Volunteer Information for Teacher Appreciation Lunch Committee:
  • One volunteer is needed for each grade to be the lunch coordinator
  • The lunch coordinators job is to solicit food and paper good donations from the families of that grade.  The coordinator notifies parents 2-3 weeks before the date through e-mail or a flyer.
  • The lunch coordinators do not need to stay for the duration of the lunch
  • Lunch Coordinators can volunteer in May/June for the following school year
