The steps to joining our organization: Determine Your Eligibility
If you have documentation that leads you to believe you may be
descended from a passenger on the Mayflower voyage of 1620 that
terminated on the shores of New England at Plymouth, you may be
eligible to join the Society. Any person able to document his/her
lineal descent from one or more of the Mayflower passengers is eligible
to apply for membership in the Society. Step One - Submit a Proposed Application Review Form
Step Two - Submit a Preliminary Application
When the Maine Society Historian
requests your Preliminary Application, print the form and mail a
completed copy with entrance fee and first year's annual dues to the
Maine Society Historian. Step Three - Submit a Completed Worksheet Once the Society State Historian receives your Preliminary
Application and check they will either mail or e-mail you a Worksheet
and instructions. After you return the Worksheet, our Historian will
review it and advise you if there is anything lacking. Wait to hear from us! Keep in mind, this process often takes many months to complete.
Good Luck in your research! |
