First thing, I think you can send scores 10 X until the end of the month as this is already the 8th day from the start of Neopets's celebrations. First, Noepets gave us 10X to send scores, more from last year's of 5 X and now, it's extended! Yay!
Secondly, for the AOTA latest step, you only need ot wat 5 minutes and not 10 as said by Jellyneo before you get to try again. This should double your chances of getting the 3 priced items faster.
Thirdly, remember that AA will be back on 24 Nov and here to celebrate until the end of the month! Please play a lot to try to get that Adam Avatar!
This year, there are some changes to the birthday sidebar. Sadly, it does not remove those distracting advertisements anymore.
Oh! Many surprises this year. Firstly, go to the Birthday Celebrations. Click the only box there to get a free avatar - no pop up box will appear, but you can check your preferences to make sure- and click close to proceed to the Trivia to answer some simple questions!
Choose the answer as Mystery Island Training School and you should get a random codestone. There should be more questions lasting till the end of the month, which is when this celebration will end.

Oh, and Daylight Savings Time (DST) is gone already. This means that a new day on Neopets, starts on 4pm the day after on Singapore time and not 3pm! Here is a simple formula I always use. To find out for example when Count Von Roo wakes up (12am NST), I add 12h which means it's 12 noon on the same day then add 4h! (if DST is on then add 3h)
Ok, this month's Monthly Celebrations, we gear up for Neopets 10th birthday! Started in 1999, it has undergone many changes, internally as well, but no matter how bad things get, we definitely agree on one thing: We can't live without Neopets! Same kind of guess the prize, except the chances had just increased.

The first thing to note is the monthly event. It appears there is one event for you to get free items each d
ay from a themed event. Last month, we have the faerie festival. This month, in view of Halloween, or All Hallow's Eve, we have Edna's Spooky Surprise! There are a lot of special promotions like complete all 3 (Brain Tree, Esophagor, and Edna's Tower) quests to get a special bonus. Also, the 5 Haunted Woods-themed games (Carnival of Terror, MAGAX: Destroyer 2, Korbats Lab, Snot Splatter, and Bruno's Backwoods Breakaway) allow you to send scores 5 times a day this month. Similarly, you can go to these games, and there will be a banner informing you of this special treat at the top. But of course, the real thing to note is the freebie given daily. Lately, Neopets have been giving out too much freebies, in my opinion. Only one contains your prize and you must guess correctly. Watever the outcome, this new daily is much more fun and exciting than the previous one.
Nowadays, Neopets are also releasing more avatars! "Tarla - Shop of Mystery" is now available.
Simply buy something there. Tarla is actually part of the programme of downloading the Neopets toolbar. Randomly, the button at the side will flash for one minute and you can go and collect your free prize.
