Hi Judith,
Here are some pictures of our princess, Neko, on her first birthday. Thank you so much for bringing her into our lives! We absolutely adore her!

Dear Judith,
I apologize for not sending any Logan pictures for so long. We thought you'd get a kick out if this one. He jumped into the play yard with our 11 week old, Lilia, and settled down for a good nap with her! He loves his girls & is so good with them.
He is now 13 pounds and has the most amazing tail I've ever seen on a cat; it is absolutely thick, huge & otherwise glorious!
We call him "Logan the Loyal". He truly is a dedicated family cat. I'd say he comes and snuggles up with me for at least 50% of Lilia's night time feedings. The company is always appreciated! He is a very special cat & each one of us loves him very much & we're all thankful for him (even out other cat, Roxy, who is now in tip-top shape thanks to their rough housing play). We even talk sometimes about another cat from you because he's been such a wonderful addition to our family.
Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for Logan!
All the best,
Laura Blaivas

My daughter has a new best friend in him. She so enjoys dressing him up and playing with him. He is quite patient with all that too!
The vet hadn’t yet seen a Siberian. She said he is going to be a big boy. He is up to date on all shots and I had him micro-chipped just in case he ever gets out of the house.
I boarded him while we went on vacation and the staff at the facility was crazy about him. They put his picture on the first page of their website.
He is quite a hit around here!

I just HAD to send you these pictures of Brody. He has got to be the sweetest kitten I've ever owned. If I ever get another kitten I know I'm coming to you. He is famous with all of my students as I always tell "Brody Stories" and my friends are also always eager to hear the latest things hes gotten into. He has actually learned to play fetch! He loves to have me throw bottle caps for him and he will run and get them and bring them back to me to throw again. He can do this for 30 minutes straight. I've started calling him my little shadow because he is never further than two steps behind me whenever I'm home. Thank you for allowing me to have such a beautiful and awesome kitten. He has made my house feel like a home. I am always excited to walk in my front door since he is always right there to greet me with his loud purr. I hope you are doing well and I hope you enjoy some of these pictures!
Thanks again,
Kaitlin

Maksim doesn't pose for me as well as he did for you, but I thought
you'd appreciate a few photos. He's so friendly, it's unbelievable, and
he loves being around people. Plus he's growing like a weed and curious
about everything. He's also absolutely fearless. So far the only thing
that frightens him was the air force jets flying overhead during the
airshow last weekend - the sonic boom just ruined his afternoon. He hide
under a chair for over an hour.
I just adore him, and he's probably going to end up very spoiled. He's
just a lovely kitten and the experience with you has been great.

I can not tell you how happy and madly in love we are with our sweet Oliver!! He is so lovable, playful and well behaved which is all because of you and your passion for your cattery. He has such a great personality! He loves to play with our kids and is extremely patient with them...especially when they have been away from him all day and want to do nothing but hold him and play. We have never had a problem with him scratching the furniture. Again, I attribute this to the wonderful way you raise your kittens. He loves his Turbo Scratcher and scratching post! In the evenings when our kids go to bed, he goes into each of their rooms and checks on them. We absolutely LOVE this beautiful, fuzz ball we call Oliver! He is absolutely the PERFECT match for our family!! Thank you Judith!!
Sincerely,
Sandra

Judith, I can’t thank you enough for allowing Igor to become a part of our family! He has been a real joy from day one! Not only is he an excellent example of the breed (he achieved his Supreme Grand Champion Alter status in the show ring by the time he was 10 months old---the judges love him!), but he is probably the best socialized cat I have ever had the pleasure of owning. This reflects well on you as a breeder; your personalized attention to your kittens from day one certainly shows in his temperament!
Igor just turned one year old, and he is still as playful and loving as he was as a kitten. He enjoys his toys and will entertain himself for hours chasing the ball around its circular track or playing with his stuffed mouse. We enjoy being met at the door by him every time we come into the house after having been away. My husband, who has allergies and asthma, has had absolutely no problems with Igor.
When Igor takes his naps, we frequently find him curled up in the bathroom sink; I guess he finds it cooler there. Of course, at night, he likes to snuggle up to us in bed. He loves being close to his humans---and lulls us to sleep with his purrs. Is he spoiled? Probably, but I would not have it any other way; he is a real sweetheart! He just keeps getting more handsome and sweeter with each passing month; he is one big bundle of fur and love! Thank you for introducing me to the Siberian breed, and especially to our dear Igor!

He also came to his first animal therapy session at my office on Friday. He traveled like a pro and took to my office like a fish to water. I wanted to give him tons of time to acclimate, but he was like, "Where are the people!? I want love!". He worked beautifully with a particularly troubled (sad) client, laying on her lap, walking all over her (in love) and making her feel so happy. After the session she said that he did a great job (on his first day), made her feel a lot better and that he could come back any time.
I've got a salt water fish tank in my office and the fish are his new best friends! He loves investigating him and they love investigating him (when he's not looking!).
He really is an amazing boy and we can't say enough great things about him.
Thank you thank you thank you!

Hi Judith!
Oliver is now 5 months old and has grown SO much in the last 2 months! He continues to be extremely loving and ever so playful and gentle with the kids! We love his personality!! His favorite daytime sleeping spots are on the rugs at either the front door or the back door...as if he were guarding the house...or perhaps waiting for that unsuspecting bug to enter (which does happen and he loves the chase!) We still have had NO trouble with him scratching on the furniture because he continues to use his scratching post or turbo scratcher. I've attached some pictures so you can see just how much he has grown! He's been an amazing addition to our family! Your love for Siberians and dedication in breeding them shines through in your kittens and we as a family can't thank you enough!!

I just have to say Judith raises the MOST amazing cats. My boy from her,Wicket, stayed with my parents all weekend. My dad can be a little grumpy when it comes to cats, always being much more of a dog person, but he is totally IN LOVE with Wicket. I did not think I would get him back. All he talked about was how loving, playful, and cute he was. How he slept with them and cleaned his beard, and purred all night long. He is totally smitten with this boy. I have to say, I love my Bengals, but through Wicket and Judith, I am a Siberian lover forever. Thank you for adding so much joy to my life in the form of my precious ball of fur.

Hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday. We’re doing great, including Kodiak.
It’s hard to believe we’ve only had Kodiak for 7 weeks. He’s adjusted to his new home so well, it seems like he’s been a part of our family for a lot longer. From the time we came home from Georgia, he stepped out of his carrier investigating everything including the three of us. He’s a curious and friendly fellow. The first two nights I slept in his bedroom so he wouldn’t be scared. We tried to keep him in his room for the first week and would go in there to play with him, but he started crying at the door because he couldn’t be with us. We decided to let him out to see what he would do and he would follow us from one room to the next, just so he could be with us. He wants to be wherever we are. He’s definitely a people cat. He adjusted so well to us and his new surroundings. My husband works out of the house and after Kodiak was here for a week he said it was nice having a little buddy to keep him company.
At bedtime, Kodiak jumps into our bed for some last minute attention and then leaves after about 5 minutes and goes to sleep in our glider chair in the living room. When we’re at the computer, he loves sitting on each of our laps for neck massages and petting and purrs to his heart’s content. He also does the same when we watch TV. He’s so friendly and happy and we love being entertained by him. Our extended family all comment how beautiful and smart he is! And I feel so proud of him just like he’s my child!!! He’s truly been a blessing and we’re so happy that he’s with us. He definitely makes our family feel more complete. One time I went to say, “ Kody” and instead I said Kody-Ody-O. So that’s my new nickname for him. I guess I sound like a new mom, but I could go on and on. Kody is so sweet and wonderful and such a treasure!!! He’s really filling out, as you can see.
Well I guess that’s all the news for now. I see you’re busy with a new litter. You sure do take great care of your babies until they reach their forever homes and I just want to say thank you so much. We couldn’t ask for a more loving and social kitten. Hope the new year is a good to you.

She is so very wonderful. We are enjoying her so much. She cried every breath for the first 24 hours and walked every inch of the house. I think she must have been trying to determine her new surroundings.- not sure. I tried to give her the space she needed and not crowd her. She then just settled in and has been so much fun since. She has a lot of kitten left in her and loves to play. She follows me around the house and sits on my desk when I'm working. She has used her litter box faithfully and didn't seem to mind the new litter. We got her a couple of new toys that she loves. You were right she is very clever and likes to explore. She got on the mantle and from there decided to get on top of the book shelves. We had to get a small ladder and get her down. I think she wanted to try it but hasn't been interested in getting back up there again. She has decided to sleep in our bedroom at night, but I leave the door where she can come and go as she pleases. Sometimes she sleeps on the bed and sometimes she sleeps on her tree in the corner. She gets lots of love and attention. I still enjoy going to your website to keep up with your cat family. Will stay in touch.

these wonderful knitted toys, we would like to know if we could purchase some from you. Katarina loves them so much, anHello
Judith---It has been nearly 4 months since you delivered wonderful
Katarina to us, small and full of fear. It’s hard to believe I ever had
to call you when we were so panicked that Katarina would remain afraid
and never adjust to us. Of course, just as you said, she had to get
used to our home and then to us. And, once she did, wow did she ever
warm-up to us! Now, she is such a personality making our home happier
than ever. She idolized Mitchell, just as we had hoped she would. But
she still loves my husband and me, always making sure to come give us
our portion of loving attention. Every morning, when she hears my
husband and me get up first, she comes running down from Mitchell’s room
to greet us with excited mews and prancing to be picked-up and loved.
When it’s time for Mitchell to get up, she loves to lick his nose,
cheek and/or ear until he opens his eyes. We could never have dreamed
Katarina would turn out to be so perfect. She definitely rules the
roost, and if we could only find her a little tiara to wear then we
could make her princess status official. And, even though she rules us
most of the time, it is also amazing how well she minds when we must
tell her something for her own good. Just as you advised us, we all do
the exact same thing and merely say the word “no” in a firm manner. She
always minds……it’s amazing, as we’ve never seen a kitty that would be
so good as Katarina! Even though we wanted to get her earlier, we are
glad we waited to follow your timing to ensure she was better
socialized. You definitely know your kitties and have been right about
Katarina! No matter what we do, even baths, cutting nails, etc., she is
always good. We have never had her bite or scratch us, and we have
never even heard her hiss. We just cannot believe that Katarina has
never become upset and is always a perfect little lady. She still loves
to lay on her baby blanket, which we now keep in front of the fireplace
for her to lay on. She also loves to play with many toys, but none
purchased are ever as fun to her as an empty box. Of course, her
favorite toys of all are still the knitted “mice” you made. One no
longer has a tail and the other is on its last legs. Several times a
day, we see her running around the house with the last remaining one in
her mouth, meowing in a different way than her usual mews or meows. Well, I could keep typing to you all day, but I see on your website that have many new kitties again and are probably too busy to read a complete novel from me. I hope you all are doing well, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. In the meantime, take care.---JoAnne

Wallace or Wally as we like to call him has become everything we have ever wanted in a second cat. He is extremely lovable and loves to give you Eskimo kisses. He also loves to play with anyone or anything! He gets along great with our other male orange tabby named Monty. They can play for hours chasing each other through out the house and then they curl up next to each other to have a mid afternoon cat nap together.
Thank you Judith for our “little Wally”

Like others we discovered Mystic Melody after learning about the unique qualities of Siberians. Our beloved Nikki, a gorgeous tortoise-shell calico, finally succumbed to kidney failure at 18 and my wife had become allergic in her final years so we feared we could not offer our home to another cat (something I know Nikki would want). My wife contacted Judith after finding her website and we began the process. Now mind you, this was our 1st experience with a breeder and/or a pedigree cat (Nikki was adopted from deceased friend of friend) so we don't have much to compare but it's almost unimaginable that there could possibly be someone out there who cares more about their cats and/or more diligently screens prospective placements than Judith Johnson. She proactively tries to match family and cat personalities as well as working with people on allergen expectations, volunteering fur samples and in our case even allowing a three-day in-home test. In the end we were a match for Pushka, a 14 month old brown classic tabby with white she was retiring from breeding, who's been an amazing addition to our family so far. She definitely lived up to her billing for intelligence, athleticism and affection. Judith has followed-up several times after the "closing" to make sure kitty and family are adjusting smoothly which has been greatly appreciated (our kids were wanting to shower a little more affection than she was ready for initially but everyone's calmed down now)! We had an impromptu "mini-party" the weekend before last with seven adults plus eight kids and Pushka was the hit of the party - people couldn't believe how she was "working the crowd" for attention/affection and didn't seem the least bit intimidated. I can, without any hesitation or reservation, wholeheartedly recommend the Siberian breed and Judith as the person from whom to get one of these amazing companions!

We had a very positive experience working with Judith, and I would certainly recommend Mystic Melody to anyone who is looking for a well-socialized and beautiful pet. My husband is severely allergic to cats, so I had given up on ever being able to have a cat again. But then we started learning more about the Siberian breed and their naturally low allergen levels. I looked at many other breeders' websites, and talked with other breeders on the phone, but both my husband and I felt most comfortable with Judith. She was very professional and answered all of the questions we had. She even sent us a sample of fur and allowed us to visit her home so that my husband could take an "allergy test" before we decided to adopt a kitten. Happily, my husband did not react, and we were able to get our little Gwyn. Throughout the adoption process, Judith kept us informed of Gwyn's progress and let us know what to expect when we brought her home. It is evident that Gwyn received excellent care at Mystic Melody, as she is healthy and very well-adjusted. She is always friendly with new people, and we have never once had a problem with her scratching furniture or not using her litter box. She really is a little bundle of joy, and we feel blessed to have such a wonderful pet from Mystic Melody!"
Thanks so much for everything!

I cannot commend Mystic Melody Siberians enough for their excellent care and breeding standards.
When I began shopping for a cat, I wanted a Siberian for the reduced-allergen properties of the breed. I was very impressed with the presentation on Mystic Melody’s website and blog. Here was a breeder who clearly loved their cats and loved showing them off. The cats were beautiful and well-presented; their living conditions clean and homey. I was also very impressed that Mystic Melody was concerned about the suitability of prospective kitten owners and asked me to complete a questionnaire. This showed me that they were keenly interested in making a successful, long-term match between a pet and an owner, not just making a sale. After interacting a few times with Judith, I was uncomfortable with any of the other breeders with whom I had made initial inquiries. Even though some of them had kittens available immediately, I knew I would get a better result waiting for a Mystic Melody kitten.
And I was right. Not only did Judith keep us posted regularly as our kitty grew with fabulous pictures and home movies on her blog, but when we finally got him home, we knew it was worth the wait. Our Presley is just what we had hoped for. Gregarious, playful, cuddly and tolerant. He purrs for each person each morning and again when we see him later in the day. It was not hard to fall in love with such an easy going boy. While being raised in the Mystic Melody Cattery – Judith’s home – Presley learned how to love and trust his humans, how to relax and play, how to be curious, and, best of all, how to use the litter box and scratching post. He hasn’t had one accident or scratched any of my furniture. He adjusted to our home with ease. Presley is my children’s first pet and he will teach them so much about the wonder of loving a pet and about the important responsibility we have to care for other living things. I credit Mystic Melody with giving Presley a healthy and loving foundation and for sharing a piece of their heart with my family. Thank you, Mystic Melody, for your great work! You have a happy customer in the Rubin Family!

We truly love our sweet Alex. He was a wonderful addition to our family. Judith did a great job matching him with us. He was exactly what we were looking for in a cat…..amazing personality, loyal, and gentle. He is also very intelligent, which has made training very easy. And he is absolutely gorgeous!
Alex is extremely gentle when playing with our children and their small friends. Judith did a fantastic job training him not to use his claws when playing. In the 4 weeks that we’ve had him, he has yet to scratch any of them. Amazing!!!
Alex is very loyal and loving to every member of the family. He loves just being with us. We LOVE him more than words can express! We are very blessed to be his owners. Thank you Judith for everything!

We
so enjoyed our experience with Mystic Melody!! Your care and concern
and professionalism was wonderful. You were a pleasure to purchase a
kitty from!! Your excellent care of your kitties is evident in
everything you do; including keeping their new families so up-to-date
before their arrival.
We LOVE Scooter!! He has bonded
with all of us - especially Ally. He has a little routine now and
sleeps with her in her bed every night!! He is our spoiled baby. He
just took a nap with me this afternoon before Ally was home from
school. When she gets home she picks him up like a baby and he
immediately begins to purr. He rolls over on his back for tummy rubs
and is so affectionate. He has also grown alot! My vet really likes
him and at his two check-ups said both times "you've really got a
healthy great kitten there"!
Thanks again,
The Goodnights

My experience with Mystic Melody has been amazing. I first contacted Judith in April 2008 about getting a kitten from her first litter. From that moment on we were in constant communication and I learned that Judith was the most caring and responsible breeder I could have asked for. She kept me updated on everything that was going on with the kittens. Whenever I had a question Judith would email me back right away. And the Mystic Melody website is fabulous! I was on the blog almost everyday looking at pictures of all the kitties.
She would post pictures, videos and anecdotes and it was so much fun to see what was going on at Mystic Melody.
My family decided we wanted to give Niko, the father of Boris' litter, a home. Judith thought that was a wonderful idea. She had plans to retire him in 2009 so we were going to wait until he was ready. But Judith wanted my family to have our beautiful Siberian cat sooner than that. She retired him early for us, in October 2008, which was so very generous. Then Judith and her husband drove over 7 hours to my home to bring him to us! Niko is a gorgeous Siberian and my family is enamored with him. He has a calm and loving personality. He is well trained to be a family cat and loves his people.
Thank you, Judith!
